I have read answers to this question on various sites and have not found anything I find adequate in answering the quesiton. I know saints in heaven do pray for us, but is it in direct response to our prayers to them? I find noting in the bible that indicates saints hear our prayers. Is there anywhere in the bible OT or NT where we see a ‘dead’ person, saint, Mary, or angel being prayed to or hearing our prayers.
Again, I know they are aware of our actions on Earth, that they pray for us, but I don’t see evidence in the Bible that it is a direct response to our prayers to them to pray for us.
