I wonder if any potential Republican candidate will tire of the laughter from the world and out of shame and embarrassment will decide to run against him in the primary. It should be shaming enough for four years of this sort of behavior. America’s reputation has gone from superpower to laughingstock in just two years.
United Nations is run by globalists and leftists so good. It’s extensive organizations are for birth control as well.
To quote Larry the Cable Guy, “I don’t care who you are. That’s funny.”
Maybe it’s just me. My son was fussed at in school for involuntary laughter over the teacher saying the primary exports of Columbia was coffee and flowers.
You have to admit that he’s not exactly moving at the pace of bureaucracy…
So, name four presidents and a list of their first-two-years accomplishments who you think top the list as part of his “almost any administration” caveat. I’ll sit here and wait.
Here’s the accomplishments he’s citing----
In less than two years, my administration has accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country.
America’s — so true. (Laughter.) Didn’t expect that reaction, but that’s okay. (Laughter and applause.)
America’s economy is booming like never before. Since my election, we’ve added $10 trillion in wealth. The stock market is at an all-time high in history, and jobless claims are at a 50-year low. African American, Hispanic American, and Asian American unemployment have all achieved their lowest levels ever recorded. We’ve added more than 4 million new jobs, including half a million manufacturing jobs.
We have passed the biggest tax cuts and reforms in American history. We’ve started the construction of a major border wall, and we have greatly strengthened border security.
We have secured record funding for our military — $700 billion this year, and $716 billion next year. Our military will soon be more powerful than it has ever been before.
In other words, the United States is stronger, safer, and a richer country than it was when I assumed office less than two years ago.
I heard he actually gave a very good
speech.
Shame and embarrassment should be directed towards the democrats, liberals and anti-Trumpers for their behavior since
Trump entered the primaries. They have done more to sully America’s reputation.
They are the laughingstock.
He has made many accomplishments!
Trump laughed at by United Nations…who exactly did laugh at him…what countries
What he said was,""In less than two years my administration has accomplished more than any almost administration in the history of our country,”
Other administrations fought wars, passed major legislation, built infrastructure that stand until today. So, if you need four, let me give a few.
George Bush overthrew Saddam Hussein in three weeks. Reagan, along with St. John Paul and Lech Walesa, ended the Cold War. George H. W. Bush freed the Iranian hostages. Lyndon Johnson passed the American Civil Rights Act. John Kennedy got the Soviet Union to remove nuclear missiles from Cuba. Harry Truman defeated Japan.
Yes, the economy did not drop, but continued the improvement that was already underway. Yes, he cut taxes and increased military spending because…? Whether or not the border is more secure or not, it is true he took action against immigrants, including kids, because picking on kids and the weak is easy.
You know what no one else did? Brag about how great they are.
More importantly, who cares?
Those countries who laughed at him might care if we are funding them for any reason
These kinds of statements make him look unhinged. Be proud of one’s accomplishments, to be sure, and those of our country. But his hubris is overwhelming.
Trump.

Uhh…Reagan was President when the Iranian hostages were released. Many of the other accomplishments were more than two years into their presidency. The economy under the previous administration was one of the slowest recoveries ever, with many of the “jobs created” being part time or low paying jobs. The Civil Rights Act may have been passed during Johnson’s presidency, but was passed only with significant help from Republicans in Congress. The Civil Rights Act was initially introduced during President Eisenhower’s administration in 1957, written by his Secretary of the Interior. It was blocked by the Senate Majority Leader…then Senator Lyndon Johnson. Oops!
I didn’t hear it as saying “we did more in two years than anyone else did in their entire administration.” I heard it as “we did more in our first two years than a lot of others did in their first two years.”
The Battle of Baghdad was in March, 2003. The capture of Saddam Hussein was in December, 2003. Bush was elected in January of 2001.
The Cold War ran from 1945 until either 1989 or 1991, depending on who you ask. Reagan’s term ran from 1981-1989.
The Iranian hostages were released in 1981. George HW Bush was elected in… 1989?
The Civil Rights Act was passed in 1964. LBJ was president 1963-1969. That’s a nice one, except for his history of opposing every bit of civil rights legislation for his first 20 years as a lawmaker.
The Cuban Missile Crisis was in 1962. JFK was president from 1961-1963. I don’t know how I feel about that one, since the Bay of Pigs (1961) was a pretty messy and embarrassing failure that led up to it.
Surely you must have noticed how people commented upon the previous president’s abnormal fondness for the first-person-singular pronoun. “I, I, I, I, I” all the time. The current president, on the other hand, is very fond of “we, we, we, we.”
Some here may not consider Johnson passing the Civil Rights Act as an example of greatness. I’ve argued with those here at CAF who insist that African-Americans were better off in the 50s than they are today… it’s Bizarro World at CAF sometimes.

Then it’s a good thing Trump loves lots of debt. Interest expenses should match military expenses in a few years.
I don’t know who you conversed with or what the content of those conversations were, but I don’t think that’s the standard conservative view of these matters, though.
I agree to an extent. Greatness does not require braggadocio.
But this is one of the reasons he was elected. Many were tired of a president who apologized to the rest of the world for America.
And he shouldn’t. Frankly, what the UN says about almost anything should be taken with a grain of salt.
I oppose the UN so what that body does is unimportant to me. But this much is certain, Trump had done more than Obama did when he got his Nobel Peace Prize. Obama wasn’t even in office and they were giving him awards. He was the first participation trophy president. Meanwhile Trump has actually met with North Korea. These aren’t the same organizations but the globalists who wield power in them both think the same.
