Her pro-choice Episcopal Church vocally rejected her change of heart, she said. “When we went to the Catholic Church for the first time we knew that where we were supposed to be.” She particularly love the church’s reverence for the Virgin Mary as the mother of God.

She converted years ago, but her story is still a powerful one. She’s also very active in the pro-life movement!
