God is trying to mature a gift in me but I am not ready

Please pray for me not to be a barrier to the Holy Spirit.

I do not wish to frustrate god or fail to mature to the point where I must be to responsibly perform my duties.

I wish to know and walk in his ways, but I have many bad habits and lack the true conviction and courage to do it.

There are a few things god seams to want me to grow in and I have been resisting it stubbornly.

Please pray that god may take away my barriers and help me to grow fully and quickly in what his plans are for my life. Please ask however to grant me a double portion of the blessings he has planned for me.

When the time comes I will exercise these gifts with joy and energy, if you pray, because it is beyond my strength, ability, patience, love, and capability.

Also, because such gifts also come with certain temptations.
