I have missed Mass before without an acceptable excuse, so when I am homebound because of surgery, is it wrong to refuse communion being brought to me? I feel unworthy because of my missing Mass for no reason,
It’s not wrong at all, Deena, and actually very commendable. You should, then, contact your parish to arrange a home visit by a priest so you can go to confession and then receive Holy Communion. Parish priests do frequently, so don’t hesitate.
