Does God grant our intentions if we don’t ask for it…like verbally rather than mentally?
He does for me. 
Especially if my intention is something I know He’ll want me to have, such as deeper understandings of mystical things through worldly experiences, too sublime for me to describe in words.

Your intentions are granted the moment they present themselves.
The question is whether or not they are granted in a way understandable to us.
Sometimes we will only see the result in heaven (of course, with the blessed hope of making it there!). Other times, it is for our greater good that we see it fulfilled in this life.
