Is abstaining from sex on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday required?

Is it required for married couples to abstain from sex on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday as part of fasting and abstinance or does this just pertain to eating meat?

The Church does not require sexual absitence for married people on Ash Wednesday and the Fridays of Lent–though that would be an appropriate sacrifice. It requires a fast with only one full meal on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday and abstinence from meat, other than fish, on Ash Wednesday and all the Fridays of Lent.
