Please pray for my husband, marriage and family. Not so long ago I found out my husband had an affair. I was distraught, saddened and hurt. My 3 children and I felt very betrayed because my children and I had no clue this was happening. We had put all our time, cove and effort into the family and marriage. So you can imagine the hurt we have. The ages of my children are 8, 10 and 11. We are both parents that are involved and showed as much love and strength. We always did everything together except for being with him at work and this is where it happened.
After being so hurt and betrayed and losing trust I threw him out June 22nd with all his clothes. He came home very upset because everything was packed. We as a family did everything to make him happy to make I’m feel like a king and this is why I did this. He got very upset and angry picked up a bat and there was lots of yelling. Our neighbor heard and called the police. He was put in jail and the courts placed a restraining order on him, we keep going to court and they will not remove the order. Due to all of his actions we bit lost our jobs and things seem to only get worse at times, but we have turned to God and having faith. This has helped us deal with this crisis.
My children and I have turned to God and became very spiritual, going to church daily and saying the rosary. The court system does not believe in Jesus or God and keeping families together. He’s allowed to see the kids in a friendly transfer, marriage counseling and catholic counseling. My children and I have forgiven him thanks to Jesus and God, but there is a lot of hurt and pain still.
He returns to court August 15th. This is very hard to repair when he is not allowed in the house. He has apologized and truly regrets his actions, but it is very hard to go on when this restraining order is in place. We are attending marriage counseling and voluntarily attending anger classes and talking with our pastor.
Please pray for the court system to release the restraining order so we can start working
on our family together. Pleas pray that we both find employment. I know this seems like a lot and I’m sorry for that, but I need prayers to give me strength to continue to fight for my family and marriage. I know God has helped me through all this suffering and this is a sign from him that says there is Jesus and God because without them I wouldn’t have gone on.
Be assured of my prayers, for you, for your husband and for your children.
I am also praying for all of the people who are involved in the secular/outside part of this, that they see your witness to love and forgiveness and are moved.

Hail Mary, Full of Grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
I also see, today is your first day on this forum and your first request for prayer.
I welcome you with open arms and a tearful smile, to this Catholic family. May you always feel welcome and comforted by the Body of Christ here, from your Catholic brothers and sisters, and also welcomed by those who are not Catholic, but are our Brothers and SIsters in Christ who are on this forum as well, and also those who are journeying with us in good faith and fellowship.
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
May our Lord intervene and make it possible for you and your husband to be together again as husband and wife. May the Lord heal you and your family and give you strength, courage, resignation and peace. Amen.
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother! To thee I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.
Praying for you and your family from today’s Liturgy of the Hours:
Lord, support us as we pray,
protect us day and night,
so that we who under your guiding hand live in a world of change
may always draw strength from you,
with whom there is no shadow of alteration.
[We make our prayer] through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God for ever and ever.
May the Lord bless us and keep us from all harm; and may he lead us to eternal life.
