She was falsely accused today of hurting another girl.
She seems better now and will be going on a retreat tomorrow with her middle school group at church.
I pray for confidence for her and perseverance to stand up for herself.

I am truly sorry your daughter has been falsely accused in this way. It is always a grave tragedy when the innocent are blamed for the sins of the guilty. I pray that your daughter, especially during her retreat, may come to see that by suffering for the sins of another, she is in fact being more like Christ, who Himself, though innocent, suffered for our sins, and I hope she can offer her suffering for the forgiveness of those who hurt her. I also pray that she may be forgiven all her sins and protected, healed and strengthened against all problems. I extend these prayers to all those who have been falsely accused, particularly those in prison who are innocent. I ask for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, your daughter’s guardian angel, and St. Thomas More who was completely innocent yet martyred for his faith. God bless.
