Repose ...

Dave passed away yesterday VERY unexpectedly leaving behind family who miss him dearly and many friends too.

Eternal rest grant him O Lord and may your perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.

I pray for Dave and all his loved ones that they will have the comfort and compassion of our Lord.

I am praying.

Please accept my prayers and condolences …

am the resurrection and the life, saith the Lord;
he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live;
and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.

I know that my Redeemer liveth,
and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth;
and though this body be destroyed, yet shall I see God;
whom I shall see for myself and mine eyes shall behold,
and not as a stranger.

For none of us liveth to himself,
and no man dieth to himself.
For if we live, we live unto the Lord.
and if we die, we die unto the Lord.
Whether we live, therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.

Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord;
even so saith the Spirit, for they rest from their labors.

Lord Jesus, I ask for the repose of Dave’s soul. May you show him mercy and forgiveness for his sins and welcome him into the place you have reserved for him at your heavenly banquet. I also ask for strength, courage, faith and peace to be bestowed upon his family left behind, now and for the rest of their lives. Thank you, Jesus our savior, for hearing our prayers on behalf of Dave and his entire family! Amen!

Continuing prayers for the repose of Dave’s soul …

Hail, Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.

Our Father in Heaven
Holy be Your Name
Your Kingdom come
Your Will be done
On earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us
Do not bring us to the test
But deliver us from evil.

Hail Mary, full of grace!
The Lord is with you
Blessed are you among women
And Blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God
Pray for us sinners
Now and at the hour of our death.

Glory be to the Father,
And to the Son,
And to the Holy Spirit.

As it was in the beginning
Is now and ever shall be
World without end.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,
And let perpetual light shine upon him.

May he rest in peace.

May the souls of the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
