Rockets fired from Lebanon into Israel are Russian-made, sold to Syria

[AP] JERUSALEM The head of Israeli army intelligence says projectiles recently fired by guerrillas from Lebanon into northern Israel were made in Russia and sold to Syria.

Israel has always accused Syria of backing Hezbollah and has asked Russia to make sure its weapons don’t get into the hands of militants fighting Israel. But in an interview with an Israeli newspaper, the intelligence chief says Russia is not complying. He says the weapons are “brazenly” being used against Israel which he says shows the “real faces of Russia and Syria.”
