I’ve recently started noticing some interesting words being used interchangeably:
Awareness - acknowledge
self examination - examination of conscience
Gratitude - thanksgiving
conscious - intentionally
transform - transubstantiation
Spiritually speaking, your dead on correct about that last one as the host changes substance rather than form, and I don’t know the rest, but that doesn’t effect anything cause you’re rite. 
Assuming of course, that U mean two say that its incorrect.
Imprecise language use insures perpetual frustration in folks like me. Listening 2 people’s butchering of the English language is frustrating, wile reading there posts is a hole nother matter to but I guess their trying just like one of my favorite cartoon characters:
