Washington, DC – Congressman Bart Stupak, apparently fed up with the massive criticism heaped on him from the pro-life community for his role in securing passage of the pro-abortion health care bill, is lashing out. He is attacking pro-life groups, the Catholic bishops and is going as far as defending Planned Parenthood.
Guess it’s time to show his true colors…
This doesn’t suprise me.
I do think that pro-life groups have been rather harsh on him. I got a letter from catholic vote this morning about “betrayal!” That’s going a little far. He was duped. Face it, most of America was duped by the same guy last election. That’s how this guy gets his way.
The railing on him seems a little unfair to me. And since it is pro-lifers attacking, naturally he is going to start siding with NON pro-lifers.
I think what he did was wrong, but what’s done is done. All we can do is make sure to vote the democrats out in November.
Stupak lashed out on pro-healthcare people calling his house and harassing him a few days ago right? The man is a politician. Nothing more.
Also, at what point do we stop saying people were duped into going along with pro-abortion measures? This is now two times with Obama. First with voting for him and then him lifting funding bans on international abortions and appointing a pro-abortion SCOTUS justice. Second is this healthcare bill. When do we stop saying people were duped and start to hold people accountable and expose them for what they really are?
i said it before & i’ll say it again, Mr. Stupak is just another sleazy politician, primarily worried about his own interests & nothing more!
(They all start off with the best of intentions, but once the first minuscule compromise is surrendered, then everything is for sale!)
This has been a very enlightening process for any American Citizen who wishes to look at the painful & disappointing Truth.
Every “pro-life” Democrat (fast becoming the ultimate Oxy-MORON!), first Ben Nelson & then Stupak, were used, abused & eventually humiliated by their obvious betrayal to core principals by the evil, manipulative & dishonest leadership of Mr. Obama, Ms. Pelosi & Mr. Reid, et. al. …
The “We take no prisoners & we destroy anyone who gets in our way (even our own innocent babies!!)” philosophy is painfully evident in every detail of this Administration’s strategy.
Pray for our country, as we are headed for the fate of all other once great nations, total destruction!

Mr. Stupak should be ashamed of himself. If he was truly interested in the pro-life cause before, he never would have turned on pro-lifers like this. That said, I don’t know his heart. Only God knows his heart. I cannot judge the state of his soul but I can judge his actions and his actions were not good actions.
