My thoughts on the Hebrew Bible are best saved for another thread, but it’s enough to say that I don’t necessarily think badly of it.

The terrorism conducted by Islamic jihadists deserves no charity or respect when being discussed. It naturally arouses a passion of eradicating this evil. Anger towards savage, killers, thieves, slavers, rapists, suicide bombers - acts of hell, require prayer asking Our Lord to protect and let us serve to defeat evil. There is nothing to be found in the source of motivation for Islamist terrorists that Christ Our Lord taught us to follow!

The example of Love one another as I have loved you was acted out by the servicemen we are thanking.
 
There is nothing in Christ’s teachings that could be remotely construed to authorize rape and terrorism to spread the Christian faith. The same can’t be said about Muhammad who raped, pillaged, and murdered his way across the Arabian peninsula, and his successors who did the same in much Southeast Asia and tried to do in Europe. Any realistic appraisal of ISIS will acknowledge that what they do is in keeping with the actions and traditions of Muhammad, while the same appraisal of the LRA would demonstrate the opposite regarding Joseph Kony and Jesus.
 
Why would anyone wish to seek out your recommended reading when we have a clear, uplifting news report that, 3 brave Americans and and an injured Frenchman, subdued the savage Islamic terrorist. Multiple people were saved by their actions of courage.

Think about this: go to “Walmart” and purchase a backpack, a box cutter, a container for Molotov cocktails, and extra ammo for your Russian Kalashnikov assault weapon and an automatic gun. You need these in order to “pray” your way to the brothel that has sexual rewards waiting for you.

Think about this: Has Obama said “way to go guys, thanks a lot”. Or, is he doing his worst to connive with Iran, make sure they have plenty of money, and never, never, identify the promoters of Islamic terror? Stop blaming the wolf! Its not Little Red Ridinghood’s Grandma nor is it a JV Team.
 
So Obama is not your president; lucky you! If he was, wonder what you would have to suffer, if anything. I agree that your major point of major monotheistic faiths, that contain vicious perversions of faith, is not the topic of this thread.

To claim that Christianity needs pretense of immunity from vicious perversion of faith, if deliberately thought, is grave sin. Seems you have unwisely lost control of your propaganda.

This really sums it up well and is about the best rebuttal I have seen to this argument.

I’m almost surprised some people don’t make the same kinds of talking points about the Satanic Church acts at the Planned Parenthood protests in Detroit.
