I am Catholic and married a Jewish woman and am considering divorce. I did not seek permission by the bishop at the time of my wedding. If I do get divorced, will I need to get an annulment before getting married again?

Yes, but it based on the facts you provided, it sounds like it would be a “lack of form” case, which is a straightforward type of case to process and shouldn’t take very long. Talk to your priest about it.

ETA: I did not see that you are still currently married. If you are trying to save your marriage, it is also possible to have it convalidated so that it is valid in the eyes of the Church. Also something to talk with a priest about.

I’m not so sure.

OP were you married in the Church? If so I would suspect the Priest sorted out any dispensations.

Also I know your wife is Jewish but was she ever baptized? That would affect what was needed.

She was never baptized and we did not get married in a diocesan church

I was and am Catholic
It does seem that you have a lack of form case then. @Mi_Rose is correct that you will need to contact your Priest. However the case won’t be investigated without a divorce.

I would encourage you to make an appointment with your priest to discuss these things before taking any concrete steps towards divorce.
