SYDNEY, Australia — Australia’s senior Roman Catholic prelate, and one of Pope Francis’ top advisers, has been charged with sexual assault, the police in the Australian state of Victoria said on Thursday.

If you’re interested in the judicial case, there were several threads here reporting as things happened. As I recall, some charges were dropped, but he will stand trial on others. I don’t know if that’s been scheduled yet.
