I have been trying to figure out a career because I’m turning 18 soon and about to graduate highschool.
I want to make sure that I’m content with the vocation I pick and I want to do something that involves charity so I went ahead and joined the fire department as a volunteer.
Recently the idea of being a missionary has interested me. My spiritual director said you can be a missionary in the United States and you can spend more time at home than during mission. I don’t really care about how much money I get for it as long as I get the necessities of life.
Any more details on how to become a missionary and what it’s like would be appreciated.
