At this point it's hard not to suspect that there's evidence in that video that the police do not want the public to see.
It is never hard for defense attorneys to suspect anything, or more precisely, to raise suspicion of the police. That is what they do. Most of the stuff you have posted is actions taken by these same defense attorneys. The rest is media outlets taking actions. I have always had more suspicion of lawyers and reporters than police, and that is all we know until such a time that a judge hears the case, or in this specific situation, the motions that will balance the public’s right to know versus the right of the defendant to a fair trial.

After he was arrested, Salinas said, he and the other bikers were kept with their hands zip-tied behind their backs for about 18 hours.
They struggled not only with the pain and discomfort, but with being treated like prisoners.
“They told us they were going to take us to a safe place, interview us and let us go,” Salinas said. “The only thing that turned out to be true was we were going on a ride, and we went on a ride all right.”
The bikers were taken to the city’s convention center, where, Salinas said, they literally had to help each other drink water and eat bread by holding items in their cuffed hands behind their backs and offering them to each other.expressnews.com/news/local/article/Central-Texas-Marine-vet-fights-to-clear-name-6354491.php
If this account is accurate, I certainly hope charges are brought against the Waco police department.

WACO (June 30, 2015) A state district judge Tuesday ruled that an attorney representing one of the bikers charged in the deadly Twin Peaks shooting may obtain video of the incident, but barred release of the video to the public.
State District Judge Matt Johnson also placed a gag order on the prosecutors and defense attorneys involved in the case.
Dallas attorney F. Clinton Broden indicated he will appeal both the protective order on the video and the gag order. kwtx.com/home/headlines/Judge-Allows-Bikers-Attorney-To-Obtain-Video-Of-Twin-Peaks-Shooting-310946891.html
They sure don't want the public to see that video.

They sure don’t. Definitely makes you wonder…

We got to hear the tape of George Zimmerman shooting Trayvon Martin in self defense, and got to see photos of his head injuries. We got to see Michael Brown roughing up a store clerk, Tamir Rice getting shot to death by police, Kelly Thomas getting brutally assaulted by police in Fullarton California, Eric Garner getting choked, and a whole lot more. What on earth makes Twin Peaks so different that it’s suppose to be kept secret from the public ?

Prosecution in this case has better lawyers?

The criminal defense lawyer from Austin, Texas, asks: “Imagine a private investigator for one of the defendants’ attorneys being appointed to the grand jury considering the case?” The lawyer continues, “That would not be any more appropriate.” breitbart.com/texas/2015/07/17/largest-state-criminal-defense-lawyers-assoc-waco-pd-detective-should-not-decide-biker-cases/

Stupid article, dumb title, and dishonest lawyer.

Police, as well as defense attorneys, are not exempt from jury duty and one can only assume this lawyer know this, as that is his job. It is a random process. This officer only has one twelfth of a vote in deciding only if a case should go to trial.

Don’t get me love it if all officers were exempted from jury service. 😃

Why in the world would police officers not be allowed to serve on jury duty? They are responsible tax paying citizens. Jury duty is the shared responsibility of all citizens. Besides that they are some of the most well educated people in the country on practical application of the law.

Because in this instance, the policeman in question may know certain officers who were at Twin Peaks.

That matters, to the point of disqualification, in a regular, impaneled jury. However, all a grand jury examines is whether the evidence is sufficient to go to trial. Rare is the time a DA thinks they can win a conviction, but the Grand Jury thinks there is not even enough for a trial. The DA’s love their conviction rates.

Over two months have passed since the shooting. The dead bodies have long since been examined. Yet the public still hasn’t been told how many of the gunshot victims were struck by bullets fired from police weapons. (I strongly suspect that if the answer was “zero” Waco police would’ve said so a long time ago.)

The Houston Chronicle has jumped into the fray over a gag order issued in the case involving 177 bikers charged in Waco for their alleged roles in a melee that left nine people dead and 18 wounded.
The Chronicle’s parent company, the Hearst Corporation, is one of 16 news media companies that are supporting a biker’s fight against the gag order. Others include the Associated Press, New York Times and the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press.
They argue that it is an illegal restraint on free speech and prevents the public from being informed about a matter of significant interest. blog.chron.com/narcoconfidential/2015/07/media-join-court-fight-against-gag-order-in-waco-biker-case/#34237101=0
Look's like opposition to the County's actions is growing
