This was posted a week ago here at CAF somewhere. It is good to watch. Maybe those who missed it on the other thread will see it here.

Opinion on Catholic Video Traditional Catholicism
[BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN: My (Catholic) Hometown] Can I have your opinions on this video. I find it very similar to the story of my family. My family was devoutly catholic before I was born, but I always wondered why that changed. I never got a clear answer by them but I truly belive that it was because of the changes that occurred to the church after V2. Now sadly; I am the only practicing Catholic in my family who is begining to go to mass again every Sunday.
Admittedly, they chose a non-descriptive thread title, which leads to double posts, so it’s not your fault 🙂

Yes, the other thread title does not mention
Bruce Springsteen so this might get more views.

I missed the other thread. Anyhow I just thought it was somewhat moving.

He pretty much described my family on my father’s side.

I have family who didn’t grow up too far from Bruce Springsteen. Yes, the have some extremely fond memories of growing up Catholic back in the day. They also have memories of abuse and being excluded arbitrarily by the Church.

This close knit family atmosphere seems to have come at a price sometimes. The video didn’t capture that other side of things.

I believe you can recapture that positive part of being Catholic without the negative side. I’m not sure how though.

I’m surprised your not banned for posting The Remnant! ha ha…
