Is it possible to have a Catholic marriage without the ceromony including Mass? For example, can a priest perform the sacrament of marriage in a church without the liturgy and sacrafice of the Mass?

It’s quite common to have Catholic weddings without a Mass. It is often advisable if one of the parties is not Catholic.

But it is normal for such a wedding to include a Liturgy of the Word.

To the best of my knowledge, and I will welcome being enlightened if I am wrong by the latest rules, all the sacraments except Eucharist and Holy Orders can be peformed outside the context of Mass, and this option is the timeless custom of the Church and not an innovation. And in my personal opinion, the encroaching custom of embedding them in the context of Mass is more honored in the breach than in the observance. Of course, I come at this from the perspective of an organist who used to have to play a lot of weddings, and a nuptial Mass is an ordeal. But as far as I know it has always been optional.

We only had a liturgy of the word at our Wedding. The priest stated it was our option to do a full Mass or not. This was in 1997 in Philadelphia. It was a lovely ceremony!

The Roman Ritual should have, I believe, instructions for wedding outside of Mass. I was married without Mass, and we structured the ceremony by picking options (readings, prayers, vows) from a booklet our priest gave us.

That’s exactly why I’m asking.

Of course, with a little luck (and a lot of prayers) BOTH parties will be Cathlic eventually. 😃
