Christian Heaven

Heaven is a weird topic to talk about being a christian becuase Jesus doesnt really cover the topic, in fact i think he talks more about hell. Iv heard from Muslims about what they can expect(virgin women, alcohol) but does any one have a clue about the christian heaven? Does any one have a faint idea of what we are in for?

all we know for certain is that we will be living in the light of God. We will be in His Holy Preasance all the time, worshiping him. this might not sound like much fun from a flesh/human perspective, but we will have been purified by then and have no real desier, but to worship God. as far as what it looks like, I"m not sure. the New Jerusalem is discribed in the book of Revolation, not sure if that heaven, or just a symbole of the church though.

This is all speculation on my part.
One thing I figure is that there are no bad things in Heaven.
You will never feel sad, angry, envious, disappointed, or worried when in Heaven.
You will never be tempted to sin.
You will never have low self esteem but will never have to do anything to avoid accidentally being boastful either. There are no accidents and there is no such thing as boasting up there anyway.
In fact, nothing will take an effort, but on the other hand, you will never feel lethargic or lazy. You will always be happy about what you are doing.
You will be able to do anything you ever dreamed of doing even better than you ever imagined. You will be able to play the guitar faster than John Petrucci, run faster than Cathy Freeman, leap over tall buildings with a single bound…
Everyone there will be nice to each other.
No one will ever get hurt, physically or emotionally.
No one will ever disagree.
You will never doubt - like thinking, what if this is really some kind of dystopia, like its as if we were all brain dead? No, you will be fully alive. You won’t ever doubt that you are in the best place you could ever be in.
One thing especially for us Aussies - you will be able to drink as much as you like and never get a hangover (-: What’s more, the beer will taste excellent - it will taste refreshing even though you have no need of being refreshed since you’re in heaven.

You know what? All the above would be good enough for me (hmm, talking about heaven makes me want to go there even more now!) But you know what else you get, over and above and better than all this?

You will see God.

If i was able to do anything i ever imagined and it was a sin would i still be allowed to do it?
I like the beer part
It would be great if i could eat and drink as much as i wanted and not gain a single kilo.

Again, disclaimer - pure speculation on my part.

You can’t sin in heaven. However, you wouldn’t want to, so that doesn’t go against doing anything you could ever want to do. Also, you would not realise that there are some things that you can’t do - or if you did, knowing that would only make you happier.

Theologically, you won’t have a physical body in heaven (hmm, so much for running, playing guitars, leaping buildings and drinking). But if you feel like having a physical body, then you can have one - at least you will think and feel like you have one so you’ll be happy. What’s more, you can make this physical body to whatever specs you like - you can make it look how you like, you can make it so that you never put on weight, you can make it so that you have those qualities I mentioned earlier - or, if you’d be happy being completely different to that then you can be. You can’t make your body capable of suffering, but like with not being able to sin, you won’t know or care about that.
