I am not a soccer fan but chose Catholic Poland to follow. I am happy to substitute another Catholic country to cheer for!
 
My mom’s side of the family came from neighboring Slovenia, very close to the border with Croatia, and my Catholic faith comes to me from my mom (Dad’s side of the family was Protestant), so I will root for Croatia too!
 
I grew up with many Croatians in Catholic school so my heart will be with them.

On the other hand I think France has played the best football in the tournament.
