Do Catholics have an obligation to support socialized health care?

Are Catholics wrong not to want to pay extra taxes to support health care to those who can’t afford it?
 
Catholics are certainly called to concern for the poor and marginalized in a society, but they are free to debate the best means of providing access to health care for those in need. The Church does not oblige Catholics to support any one economic plan for providing social benefits to society.
