EWTN hijacked

I live in a suburb of Washington D.C. and have Adelphia cable. I’ve noticed tonight and a few nights ago that when I turned on the t.v. to watch EWTN (channel 98) instead of EWTN, there is some Evangelical program on. The initials on the bottom of the screen say INSP.

What’s going on???

I already called Adelphia and they can’t explain it, but said they would look into it.

Could be anything from satellite feed bleed to someone hitting the wriong switch.

I remember when I worked for a satellite communication company, The upper part of a satellite channel bleeded into the lower part. The crazy thing the upper channel was one of those “soft porn” channels and the lower was an evangelical Christian channel.

The picture is very clear though. Wouldn’t bleeding give you a fuzzy picture? Come to think of it…I did notice last week how EWTN programs didn’t come in as clear as they usually do. I wonder if there is a connection?

I have Adelphia too, and I noticed the same thing. I called in and they told me that they do not control the programming schedules on the channels. I put in a request for EWTN instead of INSP, and they said they will take it into consideration. Sounds like some other channel, INSP, broadcasts EWTN during the day, and some other programming in the evening.
