see Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg apologizes for 'mistake' of blocking Catholic content

Facebook’s leader, Mark Zuckerberg, faced questions from lawmakers during hearings in the U.S. Congress about his company’s censorship of Catholic content during his two-day congressional appearance there.

“Senator Ted Cruz said Facebook ‘has blocked over two dozen Catholic pages’ as well as conservative content ‘after determining their content and brand were, quote, ‘unsafe to the community.’”

I see tons of conservative, prolife, pro-Trump, and Catholic pages on Facebook.

Mr. Zuckerberg said on the stand that he apologizes for any mistakes that were made in removing people from Facebook. He said that Facebook contacted Diamond and Silk (conservative, pro-Trump) to apologize and fix things.

Diamond and Silk said no one from Facebook contacted them.

I consistently see people who are exceptionally intelligent in a certain area led by their pride to make the most ignorant assumptions in other areas of thought. “Unsafe for the community” ? Lol Really?

At any rate, fb uses algorithms that control what a person will see. It’s not very straightforward. It bothers me. I still participate, though. I block those posts I find offensive or irritating myself. Most of my friends are positive, Christian people. And of course I still see Christian messages on there.
