Which EWTN show do you like best? Mine would have to be Life On the Rock. The reason being that last summer, when I decided to return Home, I was struck by the youth-oriented approach to this program and although at 34, I’m probably not in their target audience, I still find time to catch Fathers Francis and Mark. They truly seem to be looking out for the young people and I wish to heck I would have had a show like that back in my teens/college days. Then maybe I would have returned much earlier to the Faith. Oh well, better late than never. Vote for your favorite EWTN hour-long show. If I failed to post your choice, vote “Other.”

P.S. I don’t count the Daily Mass, that’s just not fair to the other shows!

My favorite hour-long show on EWTN is Mother Angelica Live Classics. I know they are all reruns, but every week is a new episode for me because I was just a little kid when they were originally aired. I absolutely love her sense of humor and her wisdom and insight is amazing!🙂

I’m outside LOTR’s target audience too. But I find the show very appealing because of it’s relevence to a broad range of topics that are highly influencial not only to youth - but on modern culture in general. And hey - even some of us 30 and 40 somethings are still pretty youthful aren’t we?

Plus ~ Us older people have kids in our lives that we love, and staying on top of the culture helps us to love them more fully.

Fr. Francis really lays out the truth doesn’t he? I often think what a good ‘Dad’ he would have been. And that he excercises these same fatherly characteristics on the show - to young people who need it.

GOOD JOB Fr. Francis! 👍

I’d say Fr. Corapi, followed closely by LOTR.

They are all great though!

Sunday Night Live
Journey Home
LOTR
Fr. Corapi

These are do not miss TV for us!

I really enjoy the stories on The Journey Home because I’m a convert also.

Life on the Rock is an awesome show. If I’m ever in the area I would love to hang out and watch them tape. I’ve had a couple of friends play their music on the show and I love that they give new Catholic musicians a chance to share their talents.

Mine is The Journey Home, it is my own personal story, it played a major role in my own conversion! Then, Fr. Corapi, both Saturday nite and Sunday nite and then Fr. Groeschel and then Fr. Mitch Pacwa and of course there’s Women of Grace. Too many to count!

I love EWTN! :yup:  :yup:

Mother Angelica Live is my all time favorite, but I guess that falls under Mother Angelica’s Classics now that she is no longer on tv:( . I like The World Over because of it’s format. It keeps you up on what’s happening in the Church and I really like Raymond Arroyo. Sunday Night Live is good, I love Fr. Groeschel. Can’t forget Fr. Corapi either! I like to hear the conversion stories on The Journey Home. As you can see, it’s hard for me to choose just one! It’s all good!🙂

I love watching Father Corapi! He is such a good speaker. I love it when priests are blunt and tell it like it is. 👍 I would really like to hear him live some day.

These three equally, Journey Home, Father Corapi, and Sunday Night Live.

One big “Ditto” to you! I’m going to see Fr. Corapi in Scranton. Pa. May 19-20. Can’t wait. When I see people leaving the church because “they are not getting fed”, it breaks my heart in light of the great education available on EWTN. Those who I know that leave have never watched EWTN. I often wonder if they had tuned in for a few thought provoking shows like “The Journey Home”, just maybe they would have changed their minds. I’m a convert and once you understand what you are receiving in the Holy Eucharist, you know you are getting fed. Besides taking part in the sacraments, EWTN opens your eyes to the great depth and wonderful riches that our church has to offer!! God Bless all who labor in the name of the Lord at EWTN! May they grow and grow in their vocation of saving souls.

Father Corapi is my favorite 1 hr. long EWTN program!! He has the Charism for teaching/preaching and I think all priests aught to imitate his fearless sermons especially on telling us what sins are most prevailant today! He tells it like it is!!

Fr. Corapi, G.K. Chesterton, and the Journey Home are always musts. Also, anything with Fr. Mitch Pacwa is great and whenever the Fathers of Mercy do lectures/sermons, they’re always good too! 😃 👍 😉 Oh, and I OBVIOUSLY can’t forget Mother Angelica. She’s such a cute old nun. I even enjoy watching her on the religious catalogue! haha

I pretty much have EWTN on whenever the television is on, so having said that, I have to say that EWTN has provided so much insight and knowledge for me during my journey to Confirmation. In tandem with my RCIA class, it has been a great source of inspiration and information. As I said before, if I would have EWTN all those years ago, then maybe I would have embraced my Catholic faith as a child, instead of having to spend so many years without faith.

It really is difficult to choose because each one is so awesome. Love EWTN! :clapping:

Even though it’s targeted for women, I really enjoy The Abundant Life. I’m surprised no-one has voted for it yet. 😦
