Favorite Saint

I was just curious to find out everyones favorite saint or saints and maybe why they are your favorite.

My favorite saint is St. Therese(the little flower). Many years ago I was watching a tv show I think it was unsolived mysteries, not sure. Anyway it was a show about St. Therese, there was a couple that was pregnant with twins and towards the later part of the pregnancy there were complications. The ultrasound showed that one of the baby’s cord had an obstruction and the baby was not getting nutrients and was very small and would probably die. The mother was eating and eating and on bedrest. The whole family was praying with St. Therese and a day later the father was walking to the hospital and there was a single rose sticking out ot the snowbank. He grabbed the rose and ran back to the hospital and told the doctor to due another ultrasound that the baby was going to be fine. Of course the doctor didn’t beleive him, but did the ultrasound anyway. The sick baby was now the same size as the healthy baby and the cord obstruction was gone. Since then she has been my favorite saint.
 
that’s really neat! I think if i were to pick one, it would be St. Cecilia because she is the patron saint of music and i love music, my life is music. I also love her story!!
 
Ok, I have a few depending on what I am doing or where I am in my life. St. Raphael, St Joseph, St Francis of Asisi, St Polycarp, St Agustine, St Thomas Aquinis, St John Bosco, St John the Evangelist, St Benidict, St Dominic, St John of the Cross, and the Cure of Ars and the Blessed Virgin.

My second favorite is St. Francis of Asisi because of the animals.

St. Therese was a simple religious within an enclosure. (She would never have been known at all had it not been for having obeyed her superior to write memeories of her young life.) She had a lot of concern for what was going on around the world. She prayed for the success of missions far away from her abode.
 
St. Therese is one of my all time favorites too! Also Padre Pio, St. Fiacre, St. Keven, St. John Neuman,St. Benedict, St. Katherine Drexel, and I think Joan of Arc is really outstanding! St. Michael is my constant companion, and where would we all be without St. Mary the mother of God? I depend alot on St. Joseph and St. Anthony of Padua. I’ve always really loved St. Francis and try to remember to ask God to “make me a channel of your peace”.

My favorite saint is certainly St. Ignatius of Loyola and my birthday just happens to fall on his feastday. 😃 My other favorites include St. Jerome, St. Catherine of Siena, St. Thomas More, St. Francis of Assisi, and St. Agnes. I love all their stories and they inspire so much faith.

My four grandparents, and a great-grandmother. Patrick of Ireland-I was born on March 16th and I’m part-Irish, so that’s kind of a given lol. Lastly, Ronald Reagan.
 
There are three Saints whose example I try to remember to thank God for everyday:

St. George for his example of duty and honor

St. Francis of Assisi for his example of poverty

St. Maximillian Kolbe for his example of Sacrifice

Certainly these three had other qualities that are worthy of being emulated, those just happen to be the things I think highly of.
