Yep…it is horrible. Not only do they allow people to kill their own children, now the government will pay for you to kill your own child.
And they are proposing to raise the tax on high income people to pay for it. That sounds familiar too. The French government wants the top rate on income to be 75%. It would not surprise me if Obama chooses to see and raise the French if he gets another term. Why would he stop at less than 100% to prove his socialist bona fides?Yep…it is horrible. Not only do they allow people to kill their own children, now the government will pay for you to kill your own child.
When the devil knocked down the leader (USA) all other countries followed suit. It’s interesting that France proposed the legality of abortions two years after the U.S. legalized abortions.
Your tone is not appreciated. At all. There are people who have suffered the after-effects of abortion, and you’d do well indeed to remember that CAF isn’t your playground.
Interestedman seems to be playfully mocking the fact that Catholics stand to be outraged at the fact that France is now paying for the butchering of babies. If I’m wrong, I would gladly stand to be corrected, and will apologize with all due shame.I fail to see the point of the just prior post…
I seriously doubt that their large Muslim population will agree with this. Hopefully they will not become violent as some of the more extreme Muslims tend to do when they are offended. Hopefully they will participate in Russian politics like a normal and peaceful citizen of France would do. If they want to change the laws and stuff then they should not be violent but instead they should vote.I wonder if there large Muslim population will partake in this.
This current administration will be tossed out next time around.
The “U.S.” did it via just seven men. Two witnesses (justices) voted against it.It’s interesting that France proposed the legality of abortions two years after the U.S. legalized abortions.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abortion_in_FranceAbortion in France is legal on demand up to 12-weeks after conception (14 weeks after the last menstrual period).[1][2] Abortions at later stages of pregnancy are allowed if two physicians certify that the abortion will be done to prevent grave permanent injury to the physical or mental health of the pregnant woman; a risk to the life of the pregnant woman; or that the child will suffer from a particularly severe illness recognized as incurable.

What point are you trying to make? That universal health care is a bad thing? I doubt you would say this if you were financially crippled by medical bills like so many americans today.British NHS offers free abortion too. Is it a coincidence that France and Britain have universal health care? Do not think so
Well abortions are cheaper.Funny that a few years ago, France subsidized children (see washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/10/17/AR2006101701652.html)
I guess try figured aborting them would be cheaper

wow.Well abortions are cheaper.
I do think that in purely financial terms it would benefit just about any government to give free or near free abortions. Most children that are aborted would probably have to live off government assistance and may grow up needing assistance as well. The cost of an abortion is far cheaper than the cost of a raising a child.
