Government investigators smuggled radioactive materials into U.S

WASHINGTON (CNN) – Two teams of government investigators using fake documents were able to enter the United States with enough radioactive sources to make two dirty bombs, according to a federal report made available Monday.

The investigators purchased a “small quantity” of radioactive materials from a commercial source while posing as employees of a fictitious company and brought the materials into the United States through checkpoints on the northern and southern borders, according to a Government Accountability Office report prepared for Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations Chairman Norm Coleman, a Minnesota Republican.

so, if underpaid, moderately educated government employees can do this, what can well-trained, highly motivated terrorists with a Ph.D. do? its no secret that the government has a lack of higher graduate educated persons. i wonder too if they realize that radioactive deployments are “so yesterday”. i can make a strain of e. coli or botulinum resistant to at least 6 antibiotics using recombinant plasmid DNA. then, grow at least 20-30 gallons of that (a steel drum), and dump it into a water supply. presto, biological attack that reproduces itself every 30 minutes. (not that i would ever do that, but with education similar to mine it is possible). and i only have a Masters in pharmacology. id be willing to bet some deep-cover terrorist is honing their molecular biology skills, waiting for the right moment.

What everyone needs to realize is noone has to go through checkpoints to get into this country on our Southern border. That is how the 12 million illegal aliens have gotten into the country. They don’t bother with checkpoints. You can bring in whatever you want and whoever you want via the southern border.

We have talked about it out here for years, but no one is listening.

The United States of America does NOT have a southern border and it is time the Liberals in the North wake up and smell the coffee!

A hundred years ago when I was in the military, I got “mischievous” one day… borrowed a jeep, drove out the main gate, drove down the road, drove through the brush, and onto a perimeter road inside the base… and then drove out the main gate again.

Did that about four times in 15 minutes… until I got pulled over and got told to stop it.
