Has anyone heard of CatechismClass.com? Just got info regarding this. It’s an educational program via the internet. It sound great, just wondering if anyone knows of it?
 
I got an email about it. I haven’t checked it out yet.
 
It may not be a bad idea to ask this over in the Apologetics forum or ring CA about it. I took a look at the site when I first read this post. I was hoping for a demo of some of the course content, but didn’t see any. I’m skeptical when sites don’t put some sample content out there, expecially when they’re trying to sell memberships.

I’ve checked into that. Asked about why they don’t have a demo available. Apparently they do have a few samples up in the “How it works” section, but nothing incredible yet. They say they are currently moving to a new server, and once that’s done they’ll have substantial examples and a list of persons who endorse their program. It’d be interesting to check back in a couple days.
 
I would do some checking before I got this program. The CEO, Shannon Jones, wrote a very bad article in the New Oxford Review condemning Fr Antoine Thomas and Children of Hope. It was full of lies and misinformation about him and his teaching children to bow in adoration. Fr Antoine is a regular here on Catholic Answers and a very holy priest. Her attack on him gives cause for concern.
 
A new artilce? Yes, May 2008. Everything she stated was false right down to the story of Fatima. In Lucia’s own words you can read everything… and the writing of St Thomas in the Summa, she wrote totally false things…and the things she said about the priest who is my dear friend and I KNOW these things she said about him to be false. I personally wouldn’t use things written by one who would publicly and falsely slander a holy priest.
 
Well, The lady who wrote the terrible article is the CEO of the program and they have 2 websites to buy the stuff. Catechismclass and the 4marks. I didn’t realize it was an old thread. I just joined today. Sorry!🤷

I’m curious…care to explain why? I have no affiliation with either site, but have heard good things about them from others, so I’m really just wondering.

I have to agree with Rach620. I know many single people who used CatholicMatch, a few of them still is positive Catholic relationships while meeting with that website.
 
Is this the same site that Andrushak used when he was in RCIA? If so, I think he got a lot of good from it. Maybe he’ll chme in here.🙂

The post above is by “Shannon” the CEO of the website in question. Not quite sure why she is still smearing Fr Antoine Thomas and saying he promotes things he doesn’t. After reading what she wrote I would question the Catechism program because she had the facts all wrong. She needs to brush up on the facts at Fatima, and St Thomas Aquinas. There are way better programs out there.

Maybe you should do further investigation into Shannon’s attack on Fr Antoine Thomas and his program before continuing to promote her and her programs.
