When is Thursday of the Sixth Week of Easter, the solemnity of the Ascension?

Sorry but I can only find this and not a date online, I’m not certain all the days I’m required to go to Mass.

Or for future reference anyone ahve a site that actually lists by date the Holy Days of Obligation for each year?

In the official church calenders there are 10 holy days of obligations, but many bishops conference excuse from some and move others to Sunday. Sometimes the bishop conference leaves it up to the local bishop or a region of bishops.

I have to tell you, this is driving me a bit crazy, why not just stick to the days that have always been required for the entire world, and let that be that? I’m going to end up missing a day out of sheer confusion more than anything.

The Solemnity of the Ascension will be either Thu 25-May-2006 or Sun 28-May-2006, depending on your location.

usccb.org/liturgy/current/index.shtml (at the bottom of the page)
This site lists the moveable feasts through 2023, if you don’t mind it being in Latin.

I believe he is one of the people who still has Ascension Thursday, as he is in Brooklyn.

New York, Newark, Hartford, Boston, Philadelphia, and Nebraska still celebrate Ascension Thursday. For the rest of the US, it is moved to the following Sunday.
