I am making a total Confession of all my sins since my Baptism this week

Hey everyone. In a few days I am going to be making a total Confession of all of the sins that I have committed since my Baptism in a few days. If you would please pray for me that I would make a good examination of conscience, that I would make a good Confession, and that I would have perfect Contrition, and total willingness to complete my penance I would really appreciate it.

I am doing this because I still have a lot of guilt about things that I have done since my Baptism. I feel that it is affecting my mental health in a very bad way. My spiritual director agreed to let me Confess all of my sins since my Baptism to him. I think I will feel a lot better when I am done.

I am going to reveal to you the secret of sanctity and happiness. Every day for five minutes control your imagination and close your eyes to all the noises of the world in order to enter into yourself. If you do this, your life will flow along happily, serenely, and full of consolation, even in the midst of trials. Grace will be proportioned to the trial, giving you the strength to carry it and you will arrive at the Gate of Paradise, laden with merit. This submission to the Holy Spirit is the secret of sanctity.

Uhhh … you should get a second opinion on this. A priest once told my class that it is a sin to re-confess a sin because you are in effect denying God’s mercy and forgiveness the first time.

I really don’t think my priest would allow me to Confess all of my sins if it was a sin to re-confess sins that I’ve already Confessed but I will attempt to get a second opinion. Thank you.

You know, I think I am just going to make an ordinary Confession of all of my sins since the last Confession. I am scrupulous so I think my spiritual director would probably say this is best as well.
