I just wanted to take a moment to brag about my husband!

my hubby and I both work in grocery stores, so last week was VERY crazy for both of us. I work part time and on dec 23, I worked an 11 hour day! my husband came and picked me up at 9pm and I came home to a perfectly clean kitchen, candles, a glass of wine and my foot bath was full of hot water and epsen salts! and after my feet soaked for a while, he got out my lotion and rubbed my feet!

I think sometimes, we got so mad at our men and jump on these boards to rant and get advice (not a bad thing mind you) but I figured, why not jump on here to give some thanks for a guy who realized how worn out I was and was ready to make me feel comfortable. God bless my hubby. and he went to Christmas mass with me too:) He’s not Catholic.

In that case, let me say this about my own DH:

A few weeks ago we went out to eat for my dad’s birthday and I had on a pair of black boots. While we were waiting for a table, I accidentally broke the heel off one of the boots…DH came to my rescue and offered to run back home and bring me another pair…he even asked me which shoes I wanted (…confession: I have a lot of shoes. I love them). I asked for a certain pair of brown heels (my outfit could go w/ either brown or black shoes) and he dashed off to get them.

While he was gone, I thought about the fact that when he brought back the shoes my purse would no longer match, as it was black (matching the now-broken boots) but it wasn’t a big deal. However, when DH returned not only did he have the right brown heels, he ALSO had been thoughtful enough to grab a brown purse for me…he said “I knew you’d want them to be matching.” 😃 😃 😃 He’s so great!

LOL! that is too funny. I could never picture my hubby thinking to get me a purse to match my shoes. isn’t it great when we are so in tune with our spouse that they know EXACTLY what we want? 🙂 sounds like your husband is a good man.
