Hi everyone!

I found the courage to speak to my wife about my realisation that I believe in God and want to explore my way towards God.

She knew about certain things that I have never been able to explain and I told her that I think God has been sending me these signs for years and I never took any notice. Anyway, I have contacted my local parish priest and am attending Mass tomorrow!

I can’t wait to feel God’s love in his house and even though I have no idea what happens and no clue as to how to behave, I am looking forward to it. 👍

That is awesome! Welcome home! 👍

I love it when things work out like this! :extrahappy:

And don’t worry about being clueless. It’s easy to stay under the radar until you know the ropes. 😉

When they go up for Communion, sit back to let others go by, but then just stay sitting or kneeling in the pew. If I want to sit and the person behind me is kneeling, personally I like to sit forward a bit and it makes it less awkward for me.

I am so happy for you! :extrahappy:

Praise the Lord! Praise Him forever and ever!

May He bless you forever.

(I don’t know why whenever I hear of someone finding the Church I feel so unbelievably happy. 😊)

Thank God!!! Welcome Home!!

You need to change your user name…you are not a lost sheep…the great Shepard has found you.

Chris Tomlin song, Our God. Is dedicated to you.

That’s SO AWESOME!!!

:dancing::bounce::love:

Welcome Home (and you may end up leading your wife home too)!!!

As for not knowing what to do or what to expect:

The parish you attend may have missalettes in the pews where you can follow along with the Mass. That’s helpful. Look in the front of the hymnal and see if you see a section called, “The Order of the Mass.”

Stand up up when others stand up, and if you don’t want to kneel when we kneel, you can sit on the pew for now. Obviously you can’t take the Eucharist but feel free to pray while we receive. You will get a blessing at the end of Mass. Go say “hi” to the priest after Mass, and tell him you are interested in becoming a Catholic. He’ll probably tell you to make an appointment to talk to him at length.

May God bless you, and keep us updated!

Good for you, I’m sure you’ll “behave” just fine.😉

Praise the Lord. How I wish every husband and wife could truly understand each other like this!

Welcome! Don’t be worried about what to do during Mass. You will be just fine. Make sure to say hi to the priest on your way out. Most priests stand by the doors and shake hands and talk to parishoners after Mass. Don’t be afraid to ask questions while you learn about the Catholic faith. There is no such thing as a silly question. Plus, the ability to ask questions is proof of a strong Church. You can spend your entire life studying the Faith and still not know all the answers. 🙂
