I need some help…I’m a fallen away catholic that just came back to my faith 4 months ago, it’s been a wonderfull spiritual journey.First I went to confession and tryed to remember 20 yrs. of sin…it was not easy (however I did my best). My previous marriage 20 years ago was to a catholic and it was not offically annuled at the time of the divorce. I am happly re-married to a non-catholic christian.
Can I receive the Eucharist during Sunday mass? or is this forbidden?

Your first marriage is considered valid until declared null (or dissolved by the death). So, until you get an annulment (assuming your first spouse is not deceased) and your current marriage is validated, you may only be admitted to communion if you go to confession and live as though you are not married to your current spouse.
