I dont’ know why it’s taken me so long to come up with the idea that it would be really great if there was a place to further discuss the things we learn and talk about in our CSS studies.

There truly isn’t enough time in the 2 hours for deep discussion. Plus, the lectures always leave me with questions and thoughts that I would just love to bounce off other people. My poor husband doesn’t have enough time in the day.

So, I was curious who else is in a bible study with CSS? Our group is studying Exodus right now. It’s absolutely fascinating to me. We studied John last year and will delve into Revelation next fall.

As there is no where else to discuss on CSS’s website, maybe we can get a thread going here. Chime in if you’re interested. It’s getting really good (we’re in chap. 32 this week).

We’re doing an at-home CSS based study. At the moment we have covered Genesis 1-22. I’d be interested in discussing ahead though.

Our parish has been doing the “Little Rock Scripture Study” series for years now. Most of them have been on a particular book of the Bible, although the last two were themes. Around Advent we did a short one titled “The Infancy Narratives” which constituted Matt 1 & 2 and Luke 1 & 2. We just finished up our current one which went through all 20 mysteries of the rosary, and included many OT reflections and parallels. Very fulfilling.

I love Bible Studies, right now we are finishing up Acts at my Parish with Jeff Cavins teaching. The study has been great and I can’t believe how much I’ve learned. Are you refering to a certain place on the web for the CCS?
