adding on to the question below about doing recreational activities on good friday, would it be inappropriate to go out to dinner with a couple friends? or is this inappropriate for that day?
Yes it would be inappropriate to go out to dinner with friends on Good Friday. It is a day of penance. It should matter that on this day the Son of God suffered and died for us. No bunisness or pleasure as usual ! ! !
