Masturbation and being autistic

I am diagnosed with Autism. I am a person beset with anxiety and prone to panic attacks. I masturbate especially when I am with a lot of panic and anxiety. Since i am autistic, is masturbating a venial sin as opposed to a mortal sin for me? I am almost 30 and have masturbated since i was very young. Am i going to hell?

Keep working at virtue to the best of your ability. God loves your fidelity, and God is rich in mercy.
Find someone to confide in if possible. We all need friends along the way to help.
 
This is a discussion for your priest. None of us are equipped to determine your level of culpability.
 
No one here can form your own conscience for you. You have to form it and dicern if you have mortally sinned or venially. It is good that you recognize it is sinful. And it is important to recognize that all sin is detestable to God, mortal or venial. If you find that you do not have the power of will to control your own physical actions I would suggest medical help. It could not only be dangerous spiritually but legally. If you cannot control your urges you might be indecent around others.
 
Well that is good and it means you CAN have control over your will to NOT do it when you are alone too…
