I ordered a rosary bracelet from a company in St. Louis, MO. It has a crucifix and a Miraculous Medal hanging from the clasp. I was looking at it closely, and noticed that the company’s name is ENGRAVED on the back of the Medal. Am I making something out of nothing, or does that seem kind of…oh, I don’t know…WRONG, to anyone else?!?

I don’t think the Blessed Mother appeared with the word “Creed” in cursive under her hearts.

Am I out of line here?

I don’t really know if the Church considers this as some type of violation.

I, personally, find it at least to be inappropriate and objectionable.

The name of the company that made the Rosary? :hmmm:

My thought is that so many religious items will have ‘Italy’ or ‘Jerusalem’ or ‘Medjugorje’ or whatever on the back to indicate where they were made. It’s not such a huge leap to have the name of the firm that made it on the back either.
