National Vocations Awareness Week -- Diocesan Hermits

The second-oldest vocation in the church is that of the desert fathers & mothers – eremitism. Canon 603, like canon 604 for the Order of Virgins, brought back the Order of Hermits. Here is a page from my organization’s website, the explanation found there having been written by a diocesan eremite.
