It’s almost bedtime for my kiddies. My daughter is complaining of a headache, she’s also got a runny nose and itchy throat.

Can I give her children’s tylenol and children’s benadryl at the same time? I don’t have any actual kids cold medicines on hand and I want to know if it’s safe to combine the 2 liquid meds (not at the same time of course, she’d take one does of tylenol and then another dose of the benadryl if possible).

THanks for any help! I figured it would be quicker to get an answer here than wait for my dr. to call back.

Thanks again!

I don’t think I would do that. I think just the Benadryl and send her to bed. The headache should resolve itself with sleep. Hopefully!

Thanks. I kind of questioned giving her that much medicine at once. You just confirmed my doubts. Thanks for the fast reply. God bless. 👍

Yes, you can give tylenol and benadryl at the same time. They are two totally different medications.
