Pauline Fathers

I was reading Catholic Culture’s liturgical calendar today and it led me to this nice video on the history of the Pauline Fathers on Youtube. I have actually been to both Jasna Gora and to the US shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Pennsylvania (it’s very nice) and somehow was oblivious to the fact that both were run by the Pauline Fathers and furthermore that the Pauline Fathers were not named after St. Paul from the Bible, but instead were named after St. Paul the Hermit, whose feast day is today.

I thought others might enjoy this nice video history of the Pauline Fathers with some very nice chant in the background (make sure your sound is on to hear it).
This order has certainly recovered from setback after setback and all kinds of mass destruction. God must be on their side for them to persevere through all that.

Thanks for posting this. They also have a branch of cloistered nuns, but they are primarily in Hungary.
