Pennsylvania Supreme Court order bars release of grand jury report into clergy sexual abuse

I have a feeling this bar is going to be temporary to let the defense lawyers get their act together, and the report will be released soon.

Brace yourselves, it’s probably gonna be bad.

Archbishop Chaput sent a letter out to all in the Philadelphia archdiocese today about the upcoming report, just reminding everybody about the commitment to help survivors heal and the reforms that Philadelphia has put in place over the last 15 years.

Yes, it will probably be horrific, even worse than 15 plus years ago.

Thank God (literally) that our faith doesn’t rest on the actions or words of fallible men (and women) but on Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, God-made-Man.
