Please pray for my husband and

**As some of you know, he is in the military. He was supposed to go over to Afghanistan but that changed when we found out we were expecting. **
This week he is away in another province for a military funeral. He is a pall bearer for a young soldier who was killed in that firefight against the taliban. He was only 22. He left behind a wife (20) and a one year old son.
I know this must be hard on him but he’s not opening up much (and I am not pushing). So I would really appreciate any prayers you may want to say for him to help him through this tough time. His brother is over there (Afghanistan) and is having a rough time. I know my hubby is worried about him too.
My sister’s long-term boyfriend is also there.
** So please include all of these people in your prayers. Thank you so much.**

I pray for our men and women in the armed services, especially those serving in such hot spots, every day. But, it’s always good to have some “real” people to think about while saying those prayers. You can count me in. 👍

Not having been raised in a religious home I find it wonderful to be able to come here with a prayer request and have people actually pray! I am so happy to have found the Catholic Church. Amazing…thanks again.

**Thanks everyone. He is home now. Everything went well. He met the widow and some of the family. The funeral was done with respect and was very moving (from what I could tell from the tiny bit of airtime it got on TV). **

My husband’s brother and my sis’s boyfriend are still alright as far as we know and are due home for their mid-tour leave this month.
