Another liberal priest pleased with Pope Benedict XVI. Some people just don’t get it. Amazing how certain heterodox priests love to put a spin on things. How much more heterodox priests like Father Patrick Howell S.J., Father McBrien, and Father Andrew Greely can we take. I don’t know how much more of this heterodoxy I can take! Aughhhhh! Liberal Catholics I’m so tired of you!

I guess the question I have is how is it that you have determined that the priest writing the column is a liberal? The article was written for a newspaper of general publication, sort of like teh New Yourk Times or the Wall Street Journal, not a Catholic paper. I would expect that with such a varied audience, some of the topics would be treated along the lines the writer did, as they would topics of conversation among non Catholics, and for that matter, non-believers, as well as Catholics.
