This is something that I’m teaching our adherents to do, which I learned from the Passionist nuns of Erlanger, KY, and other nuns – offering the Angelus for vocations. It’s basically making an intention beforehand, and saying “May her yes be theirs!” (meaning those who have the vocations).
My 6am Angelus is offered for the conversion of those responsible for modern-day abortion. In addition to my other commitments, I am a lay Contemplative of Life, and we pray the Angelus of Praise.
My Noon Angelus is offered for our CONF vocations; diocesan Priesthood Vocations; the Passionists; Central and Southern Dominican Provinces; Oblate and Oblate Sisters of St. Francis de Sales. May her yes be theirs (meaning those who have a vocation to these communities but are being resistant).
My 6pm Angelus is offered again for our CONF vocations; cloistered/contemplative vocations; and vocations to emerging charisms. Again, may her yes be theirs.
So…if you have a particular community you want to see receive vocations, use the above formula when it comes to praying the Angelus. Mother Angelica always said we have to be precise with our prayer intentions.
Blessings,
