Retrouvaille for non Catholic and not local

Thank you all so very much for all the previous posts I’ve read about Retrouvaille.
It was recommended to my husband and I about 2 years ago by a counselor.
Fast forward 2 years… We live in the same house but separate bedrooms since January. After 27 years I can honestly say we have both done plenty of damage to each other. I was the one that initiated this seperation. It’s so hard to get through things when you have 1 over communicator and 1 non communicator. My moving out of the bedroom and my willingness to move out of the house was a slap into reality for him. Unfortunately, I’m afraid it’s too late. We do love each other. He’s my one and done, you know? I’m just not willing to live the rest of my life like this.

We registered yesterday for the weekend by Youngstown, Ohio. The 24th of May. I’ve read wonderful review of the overall program. We live outside of Nashville so we will not be able to attend the post sessions. Will I be able to contact our closest group and join theirs?

Should we cancel if we can’t do the entire program? I’ve read it shouldn’t matter that we are Protestants.

Can anyone give me tips about the actual retreat site? Villa Maria Education & Spirituality Center? I’ve not been able to find about the lodging costs or dining options.

Then it is never beyond reconciliation, repair, and new growth. My prayers for you.
I can’t comment on the specifics as we have not been involved except to describe and offer this to some couples in our life. Your best action would be to contact the reservation couple or who you talked to, they can either answer your questions or get you in contact with the right person. I do know that these are geographically limited so you probable will rely on local groups also.

The registration fee is per couple, and is non-refundable** , as it covers the initial deposit for lodging for the weekend. The registration fee does not cover the full cost of the weekend. We are a self-supporting, non-profit organization, so on the weekend, you will have the opportunity to make a voluntary donation to cover your full program expenses, including lodging, meals, and program materials. The registration couple will be able to provide an estimated total cost for the program, as expenses vary based on the number of couples attending. No one is ever denied the chance to heal their marriage due to financial challenges and assistance is available.

Yes, I do feel like God was leading the other day when I stumbled upon the website.
I received an email today from the hosts. I will call today.
I also reached out to the Nashville community via Facebook to ask if we could join a local group after we return. The next weekend here is in August. The weekend my son gets married so that’s a hard no to go to that one. Lol
