can somebody please tell me whether rosary-center.org is legit? for example, rosary-center.org/maryfatm.htm refers to mary as the ‘morning star’, which got me wondering. thanks.
Grant, we beseech Thee, O Lord God, that we Thy Servants may enjoy perpetual health of mind and body and by the glorious intercession of the Blessed Mary, ever Virgin, be delivered from present sorrow and unjoy enternal happiness. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
“Morning Star, so strong and bright!”There’s a song I used to hear in church a lot as a young’un called ‘Gentle Woman’. It’s about Mary and it refers to her as Morning Star. And the Catholic high school I went to was called ‘St Mary Star of the Sea’ - slightly different but in the same vein.

Beautiful Song!!!

The morning star is seen before sunrise. Mary’s “yes” preceeds the coming of Jesus, the son of God, and the Sun of redemption that takes away our darkness.Isn’t Jesus the Morning Star though? I can see Mary being a star, guiding us to Christ, but her being the Morning Star seems to me to be a little overbearing.

Then whyyyy is Christ called “Morning Star”?It seems more like John the Baptist would be the morningstar to me.
Song of Solomon 2:1:I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.
