I have been asked many times what are Sacred Traditions? Can anyone list them please?
I’m afraid there aren’t any Sacred Traditions that can be listed. There is only Sacred Tradition, which is the whole of the teaching of the Church found in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The Bible is a part of that Sacred Tradition, as well, since it came from it and resides within it.I have been asked many times what are Sacred Traditions? Can anyone list them please?

Hello G of G, welcome!Della thanks for the reply. As St. Paul told the Thessalonians to hold fast to traditions, both oral and written, so it is that Sacred Tradition is those teachings that are taught by the Church , whether in the Holy Bible explicitly or implicitly stated. Would the use of votive candles, making the sign of The Cross, and the liturgical format of the Mass be Sacred Tradition?
