From the Denver Post:Police say someone fired a shot at an Obama campaign field office in Denver on Friday afternoon.
No one was injured, though people were inside the office when the incident occurred, said Denver police spokeswoman Raquel Lopez.
“It looks like it was one shot that was fired into the structure,” she said.
The incident happened about 3 p.m. at the campaign’s office on West Ninth Avenue near Acoma Street, Lopez said.
Here’s a picture of the damage before they replaced the window:

This is not the first time it’s happened. For those who remember, the Democrats seem to have a problem with getting damaged. Of course, last time it was an Obama supporter who did the damage (this from back in '09):
’08 race worker held in damage to Colorado Democratic HQ
One of two people suspected of shattering 11 windows Tuesday morning at the state Democratic Party headquarters has an arrest record and a history of helping a Democratic political candidate, public records show.
Police said that about 2:20 a.m., 24-year-old Maurice Schwenkler, now in custody, and an at-large accomplice took a hammer to the picture windows displaying posters touting President Barack Obama and his health care reform efforts.
Early Tuesday, Democratic Party chairwoman Pat Waak said the damage to her building in Denver’s art district was a consequence of “an effort on the other side to stir up hate.” She tempered her statement after Schwenkler’s political history was revealed.
In this case, I will imagine that they will attempt to tag it on a Tea Party member…just like what they tried to do back in '09…until that was proven false.

My first thought when I read the title was, “I bet it was a Dem seeking sympathy votes for the ticket.” Hard to tell…but I wouldn’t be suprised.

That speculation is ‘typical’.

Come on people, no one knows anything for sure, yet some feel comfortable enough to determine the blame lies in a specific group already?

Bad news. No one should resort to such conduct, be it a disgruntled Republican or warped Democratic supporter attempting to draw liberal sympathy.

Someone might have been injured or killed. No one should do this!

You know liberals will be claiming that a right wing Republican-type fired the shot. And they will claim its an anti-Obama attack motivated by racism.

It’s already evident that some conservatives will blame, or insinuate, it on a liberal attack for sympathy votes, or an attempt to lay blame on other groups. Kind of ironic. Maybe we should wait and see if anyone is caught before making such biased speculations.

No matter who did it, it goes beyond ‘disgruntled’. It’s warped and has no place in society and should be persecuted to the fullest. A person who does such a thing does not deserve the right to ‘bear arms’ and should have their gun rights removed.

Liberals claimed a right winger did the same thing at an Obama campaign office in 2008. Why not expect the same response this time if history counts for anything?

And to repeat myself, I condemn such actions by anyone.

I also condemn such acts. People could have been seriously injured or killed. The person who did this ought to be thrown in prison.

We’ll just have to wait and see. Using the same logic, one could say we have to see if certain politicians are going to return to pro-choice views as they had in the past, if history counts for anything? There seems to be a double standard in the rush to point fingers at this time.

Seriously, party affiliations do not guarantee righteousness. It could have been anyone.

Wow. I hope and pray that these people aren’t serious.

To me its quite shocking that people would threaten to riot just because a certain candidate wins an election.

I don’t get it. I despise literally everything the Obama administration stands for. But I wish him, his family and supporters no harm whatsoever. May they and their families enjoy blessed lives.

And this proves what?

I remember ‘conservatives’ threatening civil war if Obama was elected last election, and on these very forums. There were many posts that stated a preparation of ‘stockpiling arms and ammo’.

Just go to the news link provided in the first post on this thread and scroll down to the comments.

I am still committed to not voting, or writing in another candidate; however, the last couple of days I had considered Romney. Those considerations change when I start questioning the real reasons people are supporting him, according to the posts on news articles and tactics used on a Catholic forum. The reasons become suspect, to say the least, when you see what appears to be the majority of vocal supporters post.

Vote for whomever you wish, Prodigal Son. I am not trying to convince you to vote Romney. I 'd say that is a nearly impossible task so, if you prefer the “Kumbaya” and “We Are The World” rhetoric trumpeted by liberals, vote for Obama.

There you have it. Another insinuation of something I clearly did not say.

Seems to be a trend of certain supporters that causes one to step back and suspect.

Well, Democrats do wear the “black hats” so. . . . . It’s just the way they are. 😉

I heard some of them threatening to sell off their stocks and 401ks, and the stock market did tank for a few months. But all seems well with the markets now.

That being said, a third party candidate is always available. I’ll be taking a serious look at Virgil Goode. Won’t win but at least I won’t have Obama or Romney on my conscience for the rest of my life.
